Meet the Optometrist
Dr. Jenny Kisner
Optometrist
Dr. Kisner is an optometrist in Wichita Falls. She believes in listening carefully to her patient's specific needs. She makes sure to spend extra time educating patients about their vision. With Dr. Kisner, vision care goes far beyond a simple eye examination.
Dr. Maggie Veigl Reyes
Optometrist
Dr. Maggie is a native of Wichita Falls. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 2013. After high school, she attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Biomedical Science. She moved to San Antonio to pursue her optometry degree at UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. While in optometry school, she focused her time volunteering with organizations providing vision services for people in under-served populations who did not have access to local eye care. She went on to complete her internship rotation In Neuro-Rehabilitative Vision Therapy at NeuroVision Associates of North Texas. There, she used state-of the art technology to treat patients recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and learning-related vision disorders, including special needs and pediatric patients. Her special interest include pediatrics, management of ocular disease, visual processing disorders, and ocular motor dysfunction. She believes in building a connection with her patients and providing more than just quality eye care. She is accepting patients of all ages and can't wait to see you in her exam chair.
Dr. Claire Whinery
Optometrist
Dr. Claire Whinery is originally from Pampa, Texas. She moved to Wichita Falls in 2013 to attend Midwestern State University where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree. During this time, she worked for Brookstone Eye Center as optometric technician and gained further interest in optometry while working under Dr. Kisner. She obtained her doctor of optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus Univeristy in 2022. The decision to move back to Wichita Falls was an easy one, as Dr. Whinery had already come to love the commmunity! She has a special interest in primary care, low vision, and scleral contact lenses. Dr. Whinery loves to spend her free time outdoors with her husband, Dustin, and their two dogs, Thor and Marli. She looks forward to serving the Wichita Falls and Bowie areas for all of their eye care needs.
Dr. Sarah Solomons
Optometrist
Dr. Sarah Solomons is a native of Texoma. She was raised in Ardmore, OK and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her special interests include low vision exams for the visually impaired, specialty contacts and management of dry eye disease. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband Austin, their toddler, Cooper, and their Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Sadie. She is accepting new patients of all ages from infants to elderly.
